SGAAC GRANTS

2009 Grant Recipients

With the help of our members who not only join the Arts Coalition but also those who attend and support fundraising functions, the Spring Green Area Arts Coalition was able to award $10,000 to six local arts groups in 2009. A $5,000 grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board was matched with $5,000 raised in the community through fund-raising events (a wine tasting at the Bank Restaurant and Celebrity Squares), membership fees and major gifts from M&I Bank, People’s Community Bank, and Royal Bank.

The purpose of the Creative Community Grants program is to stimulate creative and innovative arts programming by local artists and arts organizations.

    sponsored by Taliesin Preservation, Inc.
