Spring Green Area Arts Coalition Annual Meeting 2005

SGAAC’S QUILTING SOCIAL

The Spring Green Area Arts Coalition “quilters”-themed community gathering was
held January 20, 2004 in the Lone Rock Community Center.

The social event featured refreshments and an array of arts and entertainment including a selection from Quilters (the play by Newman and Damaschek) performed by Terry Kerr and American Players Theatre’s Sarah Day; a lyrical interlude from Quilters, sung by Erin Nelson and Dani Liegel; and a musical/instrumental performance by another APT mainstay and local resident, Paul Bentzen. The event also prominently featured a display of colorful quilts by local artists and crafters, as well as information on how to bolster local arts by becoming a SGAAC member.
