The Artists’ Health Insurance Resource Center is an up-to-date, comprehensive and unbiased database of health care resources for artists, performers, freelancers and the self-employed. Click on the state of Wisconsin for their Health Care Categories specifically for Wisconsin. They discuss getting coverage, finding care, changing coverage and affording care. Cover the Uninsured

Cover the Uninsured, a project of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, is a national effort to highlight the fact that too many Americans are living without health insurance and demand solutions from our nation’s leaders. This page on Wisconsin gives statistics about health insurance coverage in our state. There is a guide to finding health insurance coverage in our state on this page that you can download. NYFA Source

New York Foundation for the Arts Source is the most extensive national directory of awards, services, and publications for artists. Listings include over 4,200 arts organizations, 2,900 award programs, 4,200 service programs, and 900 publications for individual artists across the country. You can search for awards programs such as Artist in Residency or granting programs, or search for services for artists. The search engine is not particularly intuitive, but the amount of information is amazing.
